Two Speaker questions...

The first one has been posted a thousand times before I bet: What is the front speaker size for a '95 Firebird?

The 2nd question speakers pertains to Sony Xplod speakers. What is your opinion of them? I listened to several brands at Best Buy and Circuit City and these sounded the best to my ears. This is over Infinity even which I found shocking. I have an Alpine 7858 and I have blown the passenger side door speaker.

The front speaker size is "oversized 6½" aka 6½ S aka 6 3/4.

Although I'm a big Sony fan, I've never been a big fan of their speakers. However, their new stuff seems to be a pretty good bang for the buck.

I personally would recommend getting a component set for the doors. I picked up a 6 1/2 inch component set for my doors, and they directly replaced both the midrange and tweeter in the doors.

Thanks guys. I was really expecting to buy Infinity, but they just didn't have the sound. I understand they sound great with more amplification, but I'm just running the Alpine headunit. I was even more disappointed in Polk.

I never have cared for Sony stuff, but these speakers were great.
