tweeters on teh inside of the mirrors?

tweeters on teh inside of the mirrors?

i wanted ot get tweeters that go on the inside of each side mirror. i have seen ones that like like they are factory. does anyone know where you can get one that look like they belong stock? thanks in advance

Sounds like you could use a set of Kevin's tweeter pods!




At $75 a pair, they are a STEAL!

I have a set of MB Quart tweeters flush mounted in rear view mirror trim pieces. They're a perfect fit.

No, those are just the stock rearview mirror trim pieces with a hole cut in them to mount the tweeter flush. There was plenty of room behind the trim piece for the tweeter.

Instead of cutting up my stock pieces, I got a spare set from a junkyard for $8 to cut up.

where did you get those for $8? I want to put some new ones on mine b/c I still have the drill holes from when I use to have my tweets on the same location

www.speedautomotive.com is where I got them...it's an online junk yard I guess.

I ordered them at the same time I ordered a new spare tire panel trim piece to cut up to move the changer over, but all 4th Gen. share the same rear view mirror trim pieces, so I'm sure one of our local yards would have some.

Damn! I just drilled holes in my door panels because I couldn't get a nice flat surface with enough clearance on the side-view mirror.
