Has anybody ever tried mounting tweeters in a gauge pod on the A Pillar?

I think mounting them on the inside of the mirrors isn't s great idea but there aren't many options.

Let me know if you've tried it and how it works or your opinions on doing this.

I have mine in the A-Pillars, but the pods don't have gauges on them. They are just mounted with the angle mounts now... one day I need to glass them in there to get the angle I want. I've seen them put in the mirros, seems like an alright idea, but the dash seems it would block them.

 

both my cars have them in the a pillar firing toward the middle of the windshield. they sound great and have good imaging.
