Touch screen HU
Touch screen HU
Hey guys im in the process of picking out a new system i want a HU with a touch screen. If you guys know of any that are good quality and resonably priced let me know. Thanks
lol, yeah i know what you mean. Well i have the Kenwood Excelon 7inch touch screen LCD/DVD/CD/radio head unit. There are others by clarion, Alpine, etc that are great as well...it all depends how much you plan on spending. I got mine for like 2 grand when it first came out, but it is significantly cheaper now. I would check out www.crutchfield.com for the latest prices and that way see which one you want. I have pics of mine on my page. Hope this helps
thanks man. how do u like ur HU had any problems with it. is worth the cash??? nice pics man whered u get ur custom sub box and amp rack??? and the ps2

No problem bro. I personally love my Excelon HU. I've had it for almost 2 yrs and not one problem (thankfully)
Also thanks for the comps on the system. Basically i designed the sub box and amp rack. i brought the design to a custom car audio shop and they built it. lol i attempted to do it myself but after several failed attempts, i was like forget it, i'll just design it, and let them build it. same with the Ps2, i just bought one and i had a good idea on how i wanted it custom mounted within the glove box. The whole glove box was basically taken apart to accomidate it and a new front panel was put in place to make it all flush decent looking. lol, it took some time and some $$$ though!
