Can I replace the three speaker Bose setup in my 93 Z with a 5 speaker setup from a 95/96?

It is my understanding that the 2 rear sail speakers come from the rear sub so can I replace my rear sub with the newer one and run the extra two speakers? Any do those speakers just connect back to the sub and the sub connects to the HU?

Will everything (fade/balance) work OK with my stock 93 CD head unit.

At this point I want to keep the stock setup so please don't reply with "just put in all aftermarket".

If this turns out to be too much a PIA, then I may go that route, but not just yet. Don't want to have to run all new speaker wires!
