ive got a sony cdx mp40 hu. its got a 200 watt amp, not the greatest but its what i ended up with. i just bought some alpin 170As to replace the front speakers with. think im just gonna take out the monsoon subs. so, im in need of a new sub setup. BB is having a sale on this stuff.
would this be a decent setup?

i bought 4 alpines instead of 2, shold i put the other two in the rear hatch area or just sell them?
would it be a good idea to rip out the monsoon subs, and the hatch speakers?

 

I am running the older model kenwood tornado subs. Mine is a 10 with around 120 watts from an alpine amp and I think its sounds pretty good. It hits but its not amazing. I think there a good startup system.

I bought my 10 with a box as a floor model for $60 and my amp on ebay for $35 . I have been thinking I want to go larger now, but im running a lot less watts than u would be and only one 10 instead of 2 12's.

I dont know what u really want but I was happy with mine
