subwoofer box help

subwoofer box help

im building a fiberglass box to fit in the hole on the drivers side of the t top storage area to house 1 jl audio 10w1 sub matched w/ the jl audio 250/1 monoblock amp.....not much just a little tight responsive bass... i have already got the mold made...after the initial layer of resin how many layers of mat/resin should i use for a strong sturdy box?

It all depends on the type/weight of the mat you are using. I usually make sure i am atleast 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick on my fiberglass boxes. Post pics as you go, if possible.
