Subthump boxes?

Hey guys,
I'm very interested in this: http://www.subthump.com/acamarowell.htm
it looks so clean, but how do they sound? It looks like they use plastic instead of MDF (I could be wrong, I just quickly looked around) but I think it might be the perfect thing for a camaro, does anyone know first hand how it sounds? I'm a bit of a newbie to car audio, so does it mess up the mounting space if a sub (say JL sub) has a specific mounting space (I think im saying that wrong, how deep the box should be to sound perfect) and the box doesnt match it? thanks, sorry for the newbness

Re: Subthump boxes?

I don't have the item in question, but I do have a stealth box, and can tell you from my reading and dealing with subthump.com that EVERYTHING they make is top notch. I don't feel you can get any better for the price.

As for your particular questions, I'm sure that the guy from subthump will be along shortly to answer them personally. Or, of you want an answer ASAP, email him.

To answer your question, that box sounds great. IMO it's the best box for the well you will find. Because not only does it sound better than most others, it fits perfect and looks great too.

I have one of those boxes with 2 JL 12W3V2, sealed. Sounds freaking great and he built it so i have the exact amount of airspace for my subs.
