Subs on ebay?

I went on ebay to see if I could find any good subs there. Well it turns out there are a million brand new Kicker Comp VR 12's for sale for only $154 a pair. Is this for real? Or some sort of major scam, seems too good to be true...

Most likely not a scam. What usually happens on eBay is that all of these Power Sellers and eBay stores buy their wares from freight warehouses that suddenly find a pallet of whatever lying around. It get's sold off really cheap, and these guys pick it up cheap. They also get their stuff from electronics stores as display models, clearance sales of stores going out of business, and other ways I don't know about.

There is a reason you see so many of the big sellers on eBay selling the exact same stuff, for pretty much the exact same price. If you knew what they knew though, you could probobly get the subs for 20-30$. I know that when I bought my 6.5" speakers off of eBay, I thought I got a hell of a good deal at 30 bucks. Well, when I got them, there were price tags from Circuit City on the magnets for 1.96$. Man I wish I had their contacts

I'm sure you are safe. I have just started an electronics e-business, and I get my stuff from wholesalers. However I have a few contacts that deal in the palletes. What happens is you buy an entire pallete for $1K and when you beak that down you end up with some great deals and get some very high markups. BUT BE CAREFUL to read the description alot of times this stuff can come from the manufacturer and are refurbished. Personally I would steer clear from any refurbs.

If your interested I can match almost all the prices on ikesound as long as I carry the brand. I have access to much more than listed on my page (I can get pretty much anything electronic, my page just isn't updated). Let me know.
