Which subs???
Re: Which subs???
You have a broad range of subs there. The ID and the Kicker are really at opposite ends of the spectrum. The both work in small box but one is more SQ where the Kicker is more SPL. The Rockford from my experience don't like small boxs. I would go for the Kicker Solos in this compairison. They will work well in small box and give good low bass for the enclosure size. I'll rank them in order of what I would use.

All depends on what you are going for when saying Kicker is the best. If you're looking for all out ported enlcosure THUMP with minimal SQ, then yes, kicker is the best one listed. If you actually want to hear the bass and have good SQ, then the ID MAX blows away the Kickers.
And as for the Audiobahns, those are the worst subs listed there. They are not even in the same market as any of the other 3 listed yes, they will be cheaper; but they are exactly that.. cheaper.
Oh, and 6K for audio equipment is nothing; I've got close to that in my car now alone, and it's on about the 5th ideration of stereo setups on this car alone. (No fancy DVD or displays, I'm talking just audio equipment and installation supplies).
Re: Which subs???
haha he said audiobahn...
ive heard a 15" L7 (kicker for all you noobs out there) in a sealed box that actually sounded pretty decent for SQ but the best part is when it goes low.. holy crap that thing doesnt puss out. probably what ill put in my rig is the 15" L7 or two 12" L7s,.. if you get them in the right box they can sound good.. just most people do ported boxes tuned way high for SPL and of course itll sound like *** there.
i woudl like ot get my hands on a pair of IDmaxs though.. thats what woudl get my vote in your case. not exactly a small box sub but it will sound great.

Re: Which subs???
I have an IDMax 12 V.3 D4 forsale if anyone is interested. It has no problems I am only selling to go smaller to save weight and space. It is worthy of all the hype. It is the best SQ woofer I have ever owned. An I have owned many. I will be going with the prefab box that goes in the pocket on the driver side. My woofer of choice will be the Infinity Perfect, Alpine Type S, or the new Zapco I-force.

Re: Which subs???
I would go with 2 10'' jlw6v2, 2 10'' RE-re, 1 10'' w7, or 1 12'' I-dmax. However any sub you use just make sure you have the proper air space for that sub. I currently have 2 12'' jlw6v2 in my 01 ss, It's loud!!! low!!! and clean but the settup is really heavy. I would also consider the RE's.
