Hey PureEvil !!! When is the final thread with all the answers gonna be up? And is there a way to only let select people to post on it? That would prevent people from posting stuff like " My sub sounds like butt, how do I fix it?" type questions. Know what I mean? Maybe everybody should have to submit their FAQ to you, then you can proof-read it and post it up.

 

Ok this isn't a tech question just need some imput. I was wondering what is the best lcd screen or screens set up for a camaro without replacing the stock cd player and radio? I was just wondering. I'm looking at maybe puting in a lcd screen or two with maybe a playstation 2. I just don't want to replace the sotck cd play on my 95 z28. I already have 3 10's in the trunk so I got the sound part down. Any suggestions?

1. What size speakers are allowed in the hatch?

2. Was the Monsoon system in the '97 line? If so, how can I determine what I have?

If you have two woofers using the same box, what are the advantages / disadvantages of having them share a chamber opposed to using isolated chambers?

I bought a 1997 Firebird w/o the deluxe sound system and would like to add steering wheel controls & a factory CD changer. Can this be done (it has the AM/FM/CD player in the dash)? Is the wiring in place for this or is this not possible?

I third the questions on the setup in the '97 f-body.

 

How about:

Model #'s of harness adapters for all years of Cars to adapt HU's to Any type of system.

Explanation of wire Color Codes Routing to all Speakers in All Years of F-Bods.
(Eliminating some headaches of running new wire, just use whats there)

Sugestions on Guages of wire and why you should or shouldn't use certian types for each application.

Interior panel removal and replacement guides. (Why did GM put that screw on the door sill next to the seat? How am I supposed to get that puppy off?)

Sound Deadening reccomendations. ( Where to put. Is it usefull here? )

Maybe some survey's on Brands of HU's so people can guage what is good what is bad. ( seems like a lot of people ask. Will this HU be good in my car?)

Where can you find tweeter pods for LT1s? I've never seen this answered.
Does anybody make replacement speakers for the rear speakers in a convertible? They're about one inch deep (very shallow).

I've wondered this too, mine don't quite fit. Also, how do you simply rewire the stock speakers with better quality wire? I would like to see how this is done.

Can anybody tell me what kind of a keyless entry remote is for a '95 Z28??
Is it the same remote used for the '95 Impala and other '95 GM cars???

And how do i program it??
