Stock rear speakers not working

I know they aren't blown out because I tried replacing them with the stock speakers from my brothers Camaro. My CD changer (stock) is at the dealer getting fixed, could not having the CD changer plugged in be the problem or what else could it be?
Thankyou for any replies.

check the fade and make sure it's not faded to the front. Also, check the amp and make sure that it's properly plugged in. I don't think not having the changer in will affect the speakers.
