Stock CD deck no worky - Ideas?

It won't play disks anymore.......just tries to read them and then says "err" and spits them out.

I was able to get a cleaner disk to play.......but it won't play any others.

I'm not into buying an aftermarket deck, I like the stock look.

Ideas?

Never mind..........I found a guy in Cali that will repair it for pretty cheap.

Cheaper than buying a new deck of of ebay anyhow......

I know, personally, that these guys do good work.....

http://www.carstereohelp.com/

The Bose head unit in my 96 Maxima failed. They repaired it for around $199.00. Works like a champ. Sure beats the cost of a new one....$800-$1000 dollars?????!!!!

I like this about them too.....

"We repair ALL factory car radios and Bose car audio equipment for all known common problems while in shop."
