stock amp?

i am buying a 97+ cd player from a camaro to fit in my T/A, my T/a currently has a custom system, and i am not sure if the stock amp is still there, do i need to buy a stock am also, or is it built into the headunit?

The amp is not built into the headunit. It's a small black box located by the spare tire. If you are just swapping head units, you should have no problems.

You have to look hard for it. It's pretty damn small. I'd say 10"x6"x1". However, if you truley don't have it, then either someone already removed it while installing your aftermarket system or you don't have the monsoon system.(which is a good thing either way.)
