Okay, so i just bought a 95 z28 the other day right?

there is an alpine cd player in it. cda-7892

there are 2 infinity kappa speakers in the front doors.

there are 2 factory bose speakers in the rear along with the factory bose sub.

i am getting no sound whatsoever from the rear speakers and the sub.....

anyone got any ideas as to why? i haven't had a chance to tear it apart and look.

It's possible the previous owner only hooked up the front speakers.

 

You're gonna have to tear the car apart and find out for yourself. Unless you know the previous owner thats the only way to know for sure. We have no idea who the hack was that installed the radio so there's no way any of us can say exactly what the problem is.

 

more than likely they only hooked up the front speakers and just left the rear one ins incase he ever wanted to go back to stock.

 

well i checked out the rear speakers earlier today...i took one out and found that it was still plugged in...so i am thinking that he might not have hooked them up into the back of the receiver...unless there is some jacked up way that the wires are run. i just wish there was a wiring schematic of the way the stereo wires are run in the car. that would answer so many of my questions.
