I'm wanting to upgrade my factory speakers on my 95z, but Im lost, this is really not my subject so I don't even know what size to look for.
can you guys point me in the right direction, what should I look for?? and what brands do you guys preffer.

Is your headunit stock, or aftermarket? If its stock, is it bose? Do you plan on amping your speakers?

Personally I am a big fan of Polk speakers I find them to be a good bang fro your buck speaker and I find them to have a very smooth sound

 

my head unit is stock for now, I ordered the Eclipse 2000 HU. which will arrive wednesday next week. whether I'm going to amp or not. not really sure....again this is really not my department so really can't say. What do I need for a nice set up??? I've got the HU coming up, I'm looking at some speakers, (what size thought????) would an amp make a diference???

 

Speakers are 6.5" for front doors, and rear sail panel. If you amp them they will get louder and sound nicer at high volumes. Personally I would go with POLK DB speakers, I absolutely love them and its what I install in alot of cars for a nice all around speaker that gets loud sounds nice and doesnt break the bank too bad
