Yup they sure are. it sucks though if you want to replace them since you have to take apart the whole door panel just to get to them. but yeah they are 6 1/2's

Here is my option for Friday:

1. get four sas baszoka two way 61?2's
2. get a 8'' amplified baszooka tube EL series...

I figure the four would be better... What do you think?

definately the four would be better. anything besides your stock speakers makes a great difference. just out of curioisty i noticed that in your sig it says it is going in a awesome z, so does yours have a bose?? if it you might run into a problem unless you already ran wires to your hu. do you have an aftermarket head unit??

The stock speakers are actually 6 3/4", but MOST 6 1/2" will fit. Some will not. You might have to drill holes for the screws... or buy speaker adapter plates. This will allow ALL 6 1/2" speakers to FULLY fit into the 6 3/4" openings. Go to www.crutchfield.com and search for part number 142sac656. They are for all GM/JEEP. They also will allow 5 1/4" speakers. Either way........ or you could just buy 6 3/4" speakers!!
