Speaker Question
Speaker Question
In my firebird i have the 10 speaker system. I am guessing that the ones in my sail panels are the factory subs? Anyway sounds like they have blown and i want to replace them. Just need to know what kind of speaker i'm looking for to replace them and if you guys had any suggestions. Thanx
Re: Speaker Question
Get a new headunit and wire up near rear speakers. Set the back speakers as just fill and get a set of JL audio front 3 way speaker system with passive crossover. Run everything from a multi channel amp and if you split off one of your outputs and get a cross over for your sub... you can run a two 10 inch box in the back and get some sick bass in pads made off to the sides that are removable for spare tire access etc. Maybe a stiffening cap
Re: Speaker Question
I replaced mine with Pioneer TS-A1671R 220W 6 1/2's I bought off ebay for $29. Easy install and good bass.
Also, if you want my old ones I'll send them to you for free if you pay for shipping and packaging.

Re: Speaker Question
how about these MA Aduio speakers as replacements. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=267-152
when i had a system in my old car i used all MA aduio and it some of the best i ever heard. Just not sure what Mid-Bass is? Just want something that will give me decent bass, not his hard enough to shake the car apart.
