Speaker Q

I am going to replace my speakers in the middle of the car and i want to know if the new speakers that i am going to buy (aftermarket) are going to be able to work with the connecter i have in mine. Or do i have to cut it off and strip new wires and let the other to not to anything or what. And what is that for anyway? the stock speakers have 4 wires comming off of them 2 red and 2 black and i was wondering what the reasoning is for them. i am not going to go all out i am just going to buy some at advance auto or som****.

Thanks for the replys

Re: Speaker Q

First of all the speakers will not just plug in. Next problem is the fact that they are midbass only. If you just wire in a new speaker it will only play bass. I would just replace with factory replacement until you change the radio.
