Arrow Speaker is jacked, what to replace it with?

I finally figured out that the middle speaker on the passenger side has gone out. I need something halfway decent to replace it that won't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions on what to get and where to get it. Oh, and are the middle speakers only supposed to put out bass? Thanks.

JL Audio 6w0. Technically it's supposed to have a box, but using it in the mid section of a camaro should sound good, and it would probably increase your bass pretty well in the car since it's a subwoofer.

other than that, you might check eBay for a good deal on some MB quart mids

This makes me think that you have the monsoon system?

If it is a monsoon system, won't this mean that speakers are needed with special requirements? Or get factory's. I ask this question because I have a passenger side speaker that rattles. I have been asking around town but get the same answer. Get factory's. I would like to get something better than factories but can't seem to get a straight answer about it.

Image Dynamics makes a 2 ohm midbass speaker. But, as I've stated before, powering them with the stock amp is a federal offense.
