So I got my new subwoofers installed...

And I asked the guy to adjust the speakers , because bass was going through them. So he told me that he adjusted them via deck + amp, so I said "alright cool." I paid him, backed out and listented to my new subs at a reasonable breaking-in level. So I have an Alpine deck, and the adjusting functions seem to be disabled. The MX button will not go on, nor will the one beside it to the right which allows me to adjust the trebble and bass going to the speakers. Both those buttons are inactive and won't do anything when I press them. What gives?

Push your volume button in, scroll through the settings with track forward or back til you find defeat, and turn defeat to off by rotating the volume dial.

Try again.
