What can a guy do to make the rear grillies quit rattling
(the ones above the rear seat in a 4th gen) has anyone tried silicone or some thin similar?

 

I put some B-quiet inside the panel, and my cursed buzzing was gone.

 

some sound deadning will work. Or just super glue the suckers on there

 

I must say, I have the same problem and it sucks.

i did something along the lines of paul here. all i basically did for my front ones when they rattled was just get an old 12 pack box(of coke that is ) and just cut out a shape that would fit around the inside of the edge and just superglued that on. i didnt do the entire speaker just like 2 corners, the rest just weren't neccesary.works fine and didnt cost me anything.

 

All I did was put some small O rings on each clip works great

 

dynamat works great with speaker vibrations and noises

 

Turn the volume up....

 

on my speaker there was this thin piece of mesh covering up the hole. i tore that off and no more speaker rattle.
