Sat radio antenna question

Is it true you can mount it (on a 97 TA WS6) UNDER the rear spolier? Such that it is on the trunk lid, but inderneath the wing part?

Also, since I have a fiberglass hood, can I mount it UNDER my hood? I've read both of these, but not heard, "yes, you can" things about them.
Thanks.

If not, what would you suggest, the t-top center bar?

All the the one's that I have seen are magnetic mount, so mounting to Fiberglass may be tough

I have the small round one, and it sticks nicely to the roof right behind the T-tops, wires run down the water channel and then through the weather seal for the trunk deck lid into the car Pretty nondiscrete

I would also avoid hiding the antennae, as it works best if not blocked. It is feasible to be hidden, but you do lose some reception

Awesome, it's mounted underneath the hood, working fine. Thanks, and for anyone else, it's a great place to put it.. Run the lead through the wirewall hole, mount it to the top of the wheel well, and no one can tell.
