I have Pioneer DEH-580MP, so far I'm in the process of running all the wires under the carpet and out of sight. I ran the Remote Lead from my Kicker Install kit (part # CK8) and the RCA signal cables today. I was looking at the remote lead thats suppose to from the amp to the HU, so how the does it hook up to the head unit exactly?

 

on the harness from the H.U. there will be a turn on wire which is blue with a white stripe. if you don't have that wire, you can use your red accessory wire on the same harness. just splice into it, fuse the remote wire, and run it back

 

Found it, it has a little blue tag on it that says remote on it, just as you said, blue with a white stripe.
