Is re-wiring necessary for factory Bose equipped models?

My car is a 1993 z28 and it came with the 3 speaker factory Bose system (2 door speakers and a rear subwoofer). I have heard that replacement of the signal wires is necessary other wise there will be static? So far my setup consists of a 10" JL Audio w7 subwoofer, a JL Audio 500/1 Mono Block Class D Amplifier, a Pioner DEH7500mp headunit, 4 gauge sub power/signal wires, and a 1 farad capacitor. I need to purchase a box and speakers and my system is complete. Should I just go out and purchase a 100 foot spool of performance wire and have the system rewired and installed professionally or is it doable on my own? I have waited a while to have all the parts for this system and I am now very very close to being ready for the install. How much do you think a professional install would cost with rewiring? Or if I do decide to rewire, is it a task best completed on my own?
