make sure its secured good, or take it off then apply some dynamat then re-attatch it.

its a sound deadning material, try removing the speaker place some dynamat behind it and resecure the speaker.

Dynamat is good. Circuit City now sells Silencer. Kind of like Dynamat, but cheaper in my opinion.

They have speaker kits you can get to do just the fronts or rears.

It really helps out a lot

Although dynamat is a good thing, I do nt see why anyone thinks it prevents rattles. It is simply a sound deadening material, to eliminate outside noise, therefore making the inside noise (stereo) sound better.

As to the main question, just pop the door panel off and see if the speaker bolts came loose or something. If not, then find whatver is rattling, and stick something in to stop it. Dynomat would work for this, but that isn't what it is made for. I found that the stuff used for weather stripping on RVs and stuff works good. It is like an inch wide or so, and has one stick side. Get a roll of that to put between any parts that rattle

im not saying it prevents rattles, if its behind the speaker it gives a more softer surface that will not sound as loud as a speaker rattling against metal. thats why i replied earlier with...

"its a sound deadning material" and not its a rattle deadning material.

Although technically Dynamat is a sound deadening material, it does help prevent rattles. Dynamat takes any vibration and turns it into "silent energy". By adding mass to the door panel metal, it takes the vibration from your speakers that would cause the metal to rattle and dissipates the energy. Dynamat doesnt just keep outside noise out. It also adds mass.

Why do so many people get it for rattling trunk lids and stuff? It does help with rattles. All of my guys and myself can attest. Ive got my hatch and inside lined with it. Solid as a rock.

Go to Circuit City and ask if they have the Dynamat Coin Demo. Its 2 metal disks about 1/2" or bigger in diameter. One has a little piece of Dynamat, the other doesnt. Drop it onto the kiosk and see what happens. The disk without Dynamat clanks really loud and rattles. The one with Dynamat just goes "thud". No metal clinging around or anything. Just stops.

Im not trying to argue with anyone. Just want to help out. Dynamat or Silencer or anything of that stuff will help out a LOT.

Hope this helps!

Depends on what all you want to line.... I think I used a trunk kit for my hatch area and down in the well. I had some left over. You may have to layer it on. Just lay down one layer over what you want covered. Then try out your system. You may find that 1 layer is sufficient. But then again you may not.

Id try Ebay or some of these discount car audio websites. Go to www.froogle.com and type in Dynamat and see what it comes up with. There are a few different types of Dynamat so look around.

There's also this roofing stuff you can get at Home Depot. It's basically the same thing. It's only $50 for a huge roll. Might not hurt if you need to do the whole car (which I can attest makes it quiet as a brand new Lexus) The stuff is in the roofing section.

I'm totaly with notstock4long on this one,,,,your rattleing could be as simple as a lose door panel or screw or speaker cover or even a lock rod in the door.
Also you could have a blown speaker if its a spuck or poping sound.

Buying expencive dynomat may help with your current problem but the chances are slim IMO.
My resoning comes from that it didnt rattle all along, it just started so that means something isnt right in there now that was right before...if they rattled from stock then dynomat would be the only thing left to try out.
