RAP module replacement..
RAP module replacement..
After I shut the key off, the radio still plays. I open the drivers' door, nothing. But, when I open the passenger side door, the radio shuts off, just like it should. Does that mean my RAP module is going bad? If so, how do I go about replacing it? Its down under the dash, correct? This is on a 94'z. Thanks!
If the rap module is shot your radio and interior lights wont turn on. The rap module controls alot ofthe interior electronics. I blew a fuse while doing some wiring and turned out i blew that module. Its a bitch to get to so i hope your a small skinny guy otherwise might want to think about pulling the drivers seat.
I agree with the other two guys that replied. If the rap module was defective the radio and power windows and locks would not work. Since it is isolated to one door then start there. I've replaced my rap three times already. Have no idea why it goes bad. Finally found a thread to bypass it.

Re: RAP module replacement..
I was trying to install the pass side window fix today and i think i blew my RAP module since my stereo won't work (it will still eject the CD and insert it but won't turn on) and now my power windows won't work. my power locks still work and the interior lights come on. i can't find any blown fuses. could it be the RAP?
