Radio Installation troubles... HELP!!!

Unhappy Radio Installation troubles... HELP!!!

My Factory wiring harness was cut and I have to start from Sctrach...


I have a

Dimmer Wire
Illumination Wire
Memory Wire
Ignition/acc wire

What should I connect the wires to in the fuse panel on the side of the dash? I'm clueless...???

I think you can find the color code here: www.installdr.com It is possible to buy a new under dash harness. I'm sure Autozone can get one.

Hi,

I'm wiring in a stock replacement wiring harness... but I want to run fresh new wires from the fuse panel.... To keep things simple...

Dimmer Wire - splice into the dimmer switch
Illumination Wire - splice into the headlight switch
Memory Wire - any constand 12v source
Ignition/acc wire - any switched 12v source (whatever is powered only with the key in the on position)

sorry I don't know which colors are which, Im sure shoebox has a diagram on his site somewhere though, get a volt meter, and start digging, shouldnt be too difficult though.

Why not just splice int othe existing cut wires though, would prob be easier.

I would do the other way but no one can find all the wires they were cut that bad... no matter what radio shoppe I went to they were going to rewire the entire car.
