Radar detection hampered by solar tint?

I was wondering if the dark solar tint on the top of the windshield of the Camaro interfers with the radar detection at all. I know it does with lasers but they don't use laser where I live. Also, is it better to mount high or low for radar? What's the easiest place to hardwire it too?

Tint will not affect radar. For a camaro, higher is better.
