Questions about installing radio

My Radio was stolen out my ride... and the stok wiring harness is cut... so I have to re wire everything.... now thankfully this incident happend before I ever owned my car.. so I don't really care... anyhow I got my new wiring harness and all the other cool gadgets and I'm ready to wire up everything.. now I was just ondering for the Dimmer ... should I install it directly to the factory dimmer? switch? .... and what is the radio ACCY for? (located in ignition box)? .. .and hte memory wire that just goes to a constant 12v source right?

If your HU has the ability to dim it's lights it should be connected to the dimmer wire in the factory wiring harness.

Radio Accy. is the switched power connection for the HU. It only has 12V when the key is turned on.

Memory goes to a wire that has a constant 12V to retain the radio station presets when the key is turned off.
