Question about ported sub box.

Currently I have a sealed dual chamber box for my two 12" subs that sits in the storage space of my 94 Camaro. I had this box custom made to specs and it pounds and sounds good. Only thing is I can tell I'm missing out on some of the very low frequencies. So I'm interested in trying to get a ported box to bring out the lows more. The airspace that would be required for the subs is 3.6 and that's 1.8 for each sub when in a ported enclosure. I have looked all over the internet for someone who makes these boxes ported and have yet to find a solution. I know that space is an issue with these cars but I also know my current box doesn't reach the bottom of the storage space which means more room for more airspace. Another thing to add is that my car is a hardtop so the storage space doesn't have the T-Top holders. What I'm wondering is if anyone on here has made one themselves or knows someone who can. Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Question about ported sub box.

I know a guy here in Nashville but he's a shade tree kind of guy. Just curious, do you still have your factory Radio/Cd player? If so I'm looking for one.

Re: Question about ported sub box.

Actually I have the one that came out of my v6. I just kinda held on to it. Some of the letters and numbers are faded through, and the plastic **** for the bass control is broken off, not sure how good of one you're looking for. And sadly I measured out the dimensions of the storage space and I won't be able to add enough air space for my subs :/. Oh well.
Let me know if you want pics of that radio.

Hey brother, that's the wrong radio for my car. I appreciate you going through the trouble of posting the pics though.

Re: Question about ported sub box.

Just checked them out Parker's, didn't find anything I could use. The only thing I could do is get smaller subs. The kind I have now require too much space for ported.
