Q-Logic Kickpanels Worth the $?

I've got a 95 Formula and I'd planned on putting some Fosgate components in the doors....until I noticed that Q-Logic makes kickpanels for these cars. Does anyone have any experience with these in a 4th gen car? Better yet an M6 car? Does the speaker interfere with legroom on the passengers side much? How does it sound? Worth the money? Anyone?

Thanks in advance

I looked into this option... I was going to put 8" mid-bass drivers into the doors, and use the kick-panels for components.. but I didn't do it. Two reasons: First, clearance on the drivers side of three-pedal cars is iffy.. Second, I was told by an experienced installer (happens to be my son, so hopefully I can trust him) that for the kick-panels to work well they need to be reinforced with fiberglass before they're installed, otherwise, if you're driving the components with significant power, you can have vibration issues.. Not saying it won't work for you, but the only reason I even considered it is becasuse I buy all my stereo stuff at cost, so money wasn't really a consideration -- and it still wasn't worth it.. Since your components will fit in your doors, and give you virtually the same performance.... well... I'd save my money.

I did it in my 97 Z and used diamonds, two months later they went on ebay! Don't waste the money they get in the way and there is not enough angle to truely benefit from the kicks. Get components and put the tweeter up by the window.

almost forgot you also have to cut your interior panels to make them fit, I had Q logic and had to have them dyed to match the graphite.
