Programming Black Widow Transmitter

The battery in the transmitter for my mom's Black Widow BW852 keyless entry system died a while ago. The transmitter is no longer recognized by the system... so it's not working.

Does anyone know how to program these remotes? I couldn't find the info on the company's website.

Thanks!

try this.

1)Turn the ignition key on thress times within 5 seconds and leave it in the on position (on,off,on,off and on)

*the siren should chirp and lights flash three times.

2) Press and hold the valet switch for 5 seconds.

3. Release the valet switch

4) program the transmiter by pressing button 1

*the siren should chirp 1 time

5) Turn the ignition off the siren should chirp 3 times.

Hmm... I would try that if the installers had actually installed the valet switch.

Anyways, thanks for the reply.

I'd take to the installer and have them fix it, the valet switch maybe installed just in a area under the dash where you cant see. Cause without the valet switch you cant program the remote to the brain.

Well, I know they didn't install the valet switch.... there's no switch that I can find in the vehicle, however, there is one still in the box.

Back to Worst Buy to have them fix this thing.

Thanks again!
