Just recently i've started having trouble out of the head unit on my 95. It started out with the display going on and off, even if the radio was not tuned on. Then the display will go on and off, then the fade and l/r adjustment will come on as if it's just been changed. Now it will blare full volume for a split second without ever touching anything ! It's scaring the crap out of me and I can't use my stereo.

Any suggestions ?

Thats what the factory HU usually does when it begins to die. You can either replace it with another or go after-market.
