Question powering speakers

My friend has a jeep with two 4x6s in the front, and two 61/2s in the back. Head unit is an older pioneer 7400 somethin. He recently bought a rockord 160a2, and wants to power all 4 speakers with it.

Question is: is there any way to wire the amp/speakers so that the fader on the head=unit will still work. because there are only two channels on the amp, and four speakers...i don't know if this is possible. you can't hear the speakers over 2 HE2 10s and 800 watts......it sucks, please help.

Thanks - Dan

No can do. You can only balance left to right with 2 channels of amplification. You have to have 4 channels in order to fade from front to back.
