Power Antennae
Power Antennae
I have heard you can install the GM power antennae made for the T/A into the camero. I have seen one done in a 2000 SS with a seperate switch to control the power to the Antennae.
I was wondering whether or not the power can be tied to the power of the radio to eliminate an outside switch. Also I heard camero's with traction control cannot use this part and I am not sure why. Might be the placement of the traction control module?
Has anyone made this change to their camero with or without traction control?

well my brother has a 96 lt1 car with traction control and he has a power antennae. he didnt instal it, but that should answer some questions on if it can be done or not. and his does not have a switch. it is tied in with the radio.
