A pillar

I am trying to figure out the easiest way to remove and replace my upper dash panel. I read to remove the "A pillar" covers..not sure where those are located. Anyone??
thanks!

should be the side panels that go along the windshield and goes on up the roof line by ur doors. it just snaps in place or out. they sit a lil on the dash panel. got to be easy tho

I don't know about hardtops but in a t-top car you have to take the tops out and remove a couple of screws to get them off. Also be very carefull when putting the dash back on. I had a friend replace his dash only to have to do it twice because he applied to much pressure. They are very easy to crack.

Been a while since I had mine off, but here's what I seem to recall. If yours is a 'vert or a hardtop I'm not sure, but this is how it is for a T-top car. If I'm off on any of this I'm sure somebody can correct me
1. Remove the T-tops
2. Remove the little plastic trim piece at the top corner of the widshield/T-top meeting line, there's two little screws that hold them on. Remove both of them, L+R.
3. Remove A-pillar trim by pulling gently on the panel, they are held in place by two spring clips, one near the top, one near the bottom.
4. The dash is attached by spring clips, and I seem to recall some velcro also. Start near a front corner and gently lift up with a WIDE pry tool. Don't use anything too narrow (like a screwdriver), it's very easy to crack the panel....trust me on that one!
