Pictures of subwoofer boxes in Camaros or Trans Ams
If you use the area where the spare tire is for a Sub or amps, you definately will have to remove the Spare and Jack.... You may be able to keep it with the disk changeralone, not really sure on that one.
If you move the changer to the passenger side, you won't lose the spare. Set it on the shelf in front of the tire and trim the panel around it. I'm thinking metra makes an extension cable if it's a factory changer. If you want a sub on the pass. side, then naturally you will need to remove the spare.
I moved my changer to the passenger side and I got my new cable from www.radiosandmore.com You can check out my install at the link in my sig.

Looks great! What did you use to cut the plastic on the passenger side? Looks clean!
Also... how did you mount the amp to the spare? I am interest in that if I can fit a Hifonics 1200 or 1600 on there.
Can you take some pictures of your CD changer mounts? I just got mine yesterday and it has two little brackets. Is that typically all they come with?
didn't have t-tops, so losing that wasn't an issue.
All I wanted was a single 12, some trunk space, and everything to be completely covered when I left my car. There is another amp for my front components in the pics below hidden in the "stealth" location mounted and bolted on a board I made.

yea it has quite a bit - it is the TCSounds TC-2000 - 28mm Xmax so it needs it, especially helps since I am running it in a sealed box around 1.25 cu ft and it would really like more (ported preferably...maybe this summer, but I'll lose all trunk space).
Sub is now listed under another company and called the REVO now if you were curious: http://www.audiopulse.com/products/s...r-drivers/revo

i have 2 10" thunder 4500 series MTXs in trapezoid boxes that i bought from my brother. I turned them upside down and sideways in the well with my amp mounted on top of them. They are basically downfiring. They hit HARD. Wish i didnt have all the parts from the upper end teardown of the motor in the car right now or id take pics.

I have directions on my website on how to mount an amp in the tire. Here's a direct link:

As far as actually mounting the changer, the stock changer has different mounts than if you buy it from GM, so if you got two little brackets, you can just make a mounting board, secure it, and then mount the changer to the mouting board.
