Angry Now I"m Pissed!

So now I'm PISSED! Took my car in at 10:00am this morning to get the Viper 790xv installed. They told me no problem be about 4 to 6 hours. Drove by at 1:00pm and my car hadn't left its spot where I parked it! Didn't hear anything up to 5:30pm so I called, they said they were almost done and to call back at 7:00. Called back, said they only had a few more wires to connect and to come on up. Went up there, come to find out they cant find the accessary wire to wire the remote start into to get the heater/ac to come on with the remote start. So I wait another hour while they try to hook that up. Getting close to closing time and the Insall manager says, We have a problem the remote start is doing some "Funny" things and we have to call DEI (the manufacturer of the alarm) to get the diagrams for my car, so we are just going to pull the fuse and call them on tuesday...TUESDAY! They had my **** ALL DAY LONG and they just now are figuring this out and I have to wait 4 more days for this!! I am so frustrated! What should I do?!? Should I ask for some kind of compensation or am I overreacting?

ive installed several alarms, sometimes you just have the luck of getting a car thats not gonna be easy and gives you some problems. It also depends on the installer, being experianced is one thing but if you havent done many of a paticular model car it may take longer than a car you have done several times, also when you have to bypass immobilizer system thats just one more thing in the line of having to check, also sometimes the wiring diagrams arent correct. I can understand the car being there all day sucks especially when they told you it would take a certain amount of time. Should you be compensated? no offense probably not cause the installer probably did everything they could other then tell you return and and go somewhere else. I know when i do installations if a customer is being a jerk to me i take my time and make it take longer than usual only cause thats about all i can do because unfortunatly i cant tell them to f*** off. So I wouldnt go in there bitching everyone out just talk to the manager and let them know how you feel and if they can do anything for you.

but this all is just my .02

Ya, I'm a more calm about it today, I understand that things go wrong, I work in retail too! So I figure, I've waited for 2 years without it, whats 4 more days, well 3 now! Thanks for letting me vent!
