I like it, but how does it sound with just the 2 fronts speakers in and no back speakers. I am just starting to buy speakers and haven't decided if it is worth is to buy rear speakers also. Although my JL's are only a 10w3's. I just don't want to be drowned out by the bass..

I think it sounds so much better with no rear fill. A friend of mine has 4 good coaxil speakers and while it gets loud, it only feels like you hear the speakers right behind your head and it's unnatural. If it was my money I would invest it in a really good pair of front components than 4 speakers all around.

nice, i like the Autotek mean machine amps, never seen the SS in a local install, how do you like them?

i drilled whole in firewall... ran under carpet on driver side...(4 guage, tight fit)

i have 4 boston acoustic 6 1/2s.... 2 JL 12W3s

hes, the 2 near ur head is the "most" your hear, but u do hear the fronts, wich i LOVE the way it sounds...

got a nice 800W amp on the subs, reciever powering spekers....

With just front stage you get good imaging, doesnt mix to the rear seats. But i decided to go with the midrange for the back. Still havnt installed everything yet though.
