Long time coming, I finally updated my system.. I blew my old Infinity speakers last week and my 5yr old Kenwood head unit just wasnt cutting it anymore.. So I bought a new setup... I got the Alpine iDA-X100 head unit which is ****ing sweet... I cant say enough about this I love that I can control my Ipod and see everything on the screen.. It does have a few things that annoy me but everything else makes up for it. That is running to a Infinity 475A amp to Infinity KAPPA 60.9CS fronts and Infinity KAPPA 62.9I rears. Also have 2 10in Alpine type Rs in the closet but im only going to put 1 in. Hooked up to a Infinity 1600A. Everyone says Infinity has no midbass and the highs are to high but I have to disagree. Sure your not going to have alot of bass out of 6 1/2 speakers, They are made for clarity not bass... But even in my convertible it hits hard for the size. The highs are not harsh to me and the clarity is great. Im by no means a audio expert but what i've put together works for me.
