New head unit, no vocals in rear speakers

New head unit, no vocals in rear speakers

just put in a new kenwood head unit from the stock bose and now the vocals are comming out of the stock bose sub in trunk and not the 2 back seat speakers... any ideas? i tried messing around with the wires in the back of the headunit but i cant get vocals...

I think you have to bypass the bose amp by running new wires from the deck to the speakers. you could try the install edge premium sound interface but im not sure if it will work for your app.

could i splice the rear speakers into the wires going from the bose amp to the fronts?

i think that would burn out the amp or possibly damage the speakers cause it may try to lower the ohm rating on the speaker and the speakers/amp may not be stable at what ever ohm rating it would be.
