Post New Head Unit and awful sound

I installed a new head unit today... Pioneer and after the guy cut many wires to "make it work" it sounds as if the main amplifiers were set to max and you can always listen to the shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhsshshshs sound..

What to do next to eliminate that?

Cut many wires to what?

What does the rest of your setup consist of? Aftermarket? Factory?

Aftermarket: Pioneer DEH-P47DH

And the rest... factory... I only changed the radio.

Thumbs down

Bose BLOWS for upgrade!
I had the Bose system and you pretty much have run new wires to each speaker and disconect the old ones(Cheap no quality way)
What I did was replace 4 of 5 speakers, got a 5 channel amp and disconected the 5th speaker. All you really need is new speakers, now that you have the head unit.
