Anyone using this monster yet? I'm trying to find some feedback on it.

eh it was the stros first time and certainly not the last time. both teams played extremely well, the sox just out hit us. they were all well played games.

Re: New Alpine CDA-9855

I just installed the 9855 in my car yesterday and I like it so far. There are a ton of options on it, the stats are good, it plays MP3's, and it's iPod ready. I only paid $350 for mine, so it really wasn't that expensive. I stepped up from a 6 year old Clarion deck, so I guess anything was better than that though.

Re: New Alpine CDA-9855

The 9855 is a 4 volt deck. The 9853 is a 2 volt deck.
The 9855 has biolite. The 9853 does not.
The 9855 buttons change to any color you want. The 9853 buttons don't.
I'm sure there are a couple of other small features but these are enough for me to opt for the 9855.
That being said I have been enjoying my 9835 which is basically the same radio as the 9855 minus the glide touch.
