what is there power handling sounds like flea market speakers to
me but if each one can handle past 50 watts then I say go for it also look at the magnet size(how many ounces),magnet dosent
really help sound quality but bigger the magnet the better the base(but not in all cases).

Well the best thing to do is listen to your current setup, install the new speakers then listen to them and decide what you like better. You might think the pioneers and better sounding and I might think the absolutes sound better, depends on your tastes. I would say from looking at their webiste it's definately worth a try, they don't look too bad. How much power are you running to them? Are you using an external amp? Are the pioneers you have seperates or coaxial speakers?

My current pioneers are the premire series from a couple years ago, their 6 1/2 mid bass driver and 1/2 silk dome tweeter, im drivin them with a rockford punch 150a2, umm the absolutes claim 300w peak, so im guessing around 70-80wrms or so...thanks for your help guys
