Need some advice on bose system

I got a 95 z28 with the 5 speaker bose system.I recently put in a pioneer deck, and im wanting to get new speakers for it...Now i know about how bose opereates and how you hafta re-wire everything but can't i just put in 4 new speakers and bypass the amps... i got the wiring diagram and was wondering if this would work or not. Also if i had to re-wire wut exactly do i hafta do.Do i run the new wires directly INTO the factory harness or splice them into the wires on the harness,or directly to the decks wiring??? If there is a wright up about this it would be great..And last...sry lol....if i put in new speakers and bypassed/re-wired the car would i need my own amps or could i run it with just speakers. My girlfriends malibu only has 4 speakers and it sounds great....please any help would be great!!

When you say Bypass the amps I assume you mean cutting the amp wiring at the input side, then connecting it directly to the output side.... And that would work but from what I remember getting to them is a process not worth doing...

Easiest way is to run a Factory Harness Connection between the deck and and the Factory Wiring. Then just cut the Connection Harness Speaker Wires and run new wires from those directly to the Speakers.

This way all you need to do if you want to re-install the Bose System is swap out the deck plug into the Factory Harness, and re-install Bose Speakers

Also running wires from the Radio Area to the speakers is pretty easy... Drop the bottom plates under the dash and remove door sill plates & trim. Sail Panels pretty much just pop out (2 screws IIRC, and push connectors) you can find Door Panel removal via the web (LS1.com when I did mine a while back) The I just ran wires into the door right next to the factory wire loom....

Basically not real hard just will take a little time
