Need new speakers...Any tips?

When I bought my TA, last fall, almost all of the speakers were blown. I think the only one that still works is the front drivers side one. I'm looking to replace all of them with some new ones. I don't know much about stereo systems, so I was wondering if you guys could give me a little help with which speakers are good, and which ones arn't. I'm looking for some good speakers, but I'd like them to be kinda cheap. Also, I used to have a camaro w/ the premium sound in it. I LOVED the 4.5" (I think thats what it was, or was it 6"?) sub that was in the back. Is there a way to buy one of those and put it in the back? Or, I was going to get a stealth box with a 10" (but I REALLY liked the sub in my camaro).

I would buy new subwoofers only because the bose setup with stock sub(the set-up you likely have) will still cost you some $$$.
I only say this because why pay to make your speaker setup stock again when you could pay a little more(or alot more ) and have a crazy system.

If you find an aftermarket speaker set-up worthy of the money, then hell go for it.

check ikesound.com, they have some good items, and prices are pretty good

Good Luck,

How much $$$$ is too much $$$$? We need an actual dollar figure of your budget. Maybe one figure if you decide to get the stealth/10"/amp and one figure if you just want the 4 6 1/2"s...

another vote for rockfords. ive got 4306s (3-ways) up front, and 2206s (2-ways) in the sail panels, and they sound sooooo much better than stock, and are being ran with a pioneer headunit (DEH-P3600). the pioneer HU lets me send most of the thump to the back, and the highs to the front, and its consistent (high rms wattage). ide look into replacing the headunit and speakers for optimum gain.

Thanks for all the tips! I don't really have an amount that I want to keep this down to, becuase I'm not really sure what "cheap" is for speakers. I just don't want you guys to tell me to get these awesome speakers that cost twise as much as these other ones that are pretty good too...Know what I mean? These rockfords seem to be pretty popular...How much, roughly, do they cost? Also, right now I'm just interested in replacing the front door speakers and the backseat speakers. I can worry about the sub in the back later.
