need to know how to fix....
Here is the prob. my stock stereo is making a werid sound like a beep sound that doesnt go away until you turn off the stereo it goes away. NO matter what you do about the vol. it is still the same pitch. I think that it is the factory amp. but im not for sure. Another thing is that every time the car turn the car off then turn it back on the stereo resets its self. Thanks for the help.
give more info on the car/stereo..
bose/monsoon? was there an aftermarket in there at some time? did you just buy the car?
sounds like theres something crazy going on in the wiring behind the radio, or in the radio itself...

it is bose, and yes i just bought the car. Also does a 95 camaro come with a factor amp. because i had another chevy car that did the same thing and i had to take it to best buy to by pass the factory amp. Do you know how to by pass the amp. or if there is an amp. where is it located?
Yeap, probably the bose amp. Im not familiar with the bose system. I do know, the monsoon amp is infront of the spare tire, under the trim piece. It should be fairly simple to bypass, but youre going to need a new radio at the very least, or a 4ch amp. That factory wont power anything. Ill see what I have at work, tomorrow, as far as bypassing the amp.
Heres what Ive come up with so far....
"Chevrolet Camaro Bose system tip
In the Camaro doors there are 4 wires just like in Nissan Bose systems. In the passenger side kickpanel you can find where the negatives tie together for the front doors 2 white wires sharing 1 pin. Cut those and the positive wires, and run those to the deck. Bypass the amps in the doors and you're done. This way you don't have to run wires to both kicks, or even into the doors themselves. "
Again, youre still going to need to get power to these speakers.
Id reccomend an aftermarket deck.

i have a panasonic stereo that i had in the last car and it has enough to power them intill i get an aftermarket amp.. i will put it in and see what i come up with and then i will see if i can use your infomation to by pass it. You didnt hapen to also find out what whould make the deck reset its self after the car was turned of did you that may happen to the panasonic to but i dont know yet since i havent put it in yet but if any one could help me out on the at I wuld be very thankful.
Depends on the wiring behind the radio. Sounds like the constant might not be hooked up, and the switched is going to both 12vs and 12vc. Could also be a bad radio. Once you get it out test and see if the wire is constant12v.
