Need help: Does anyone repair factory radios?
Does anyone know of a place who can repair the factory radios?
I have a '94 T/A with the radio/CD/equalizer. The radio won't lock on channels when searching and has got to the point where it barely picks up local stations (I've checked the antena connection and it's fine). The CD player doesn't work any more either and doesn't want to eject the disc.
I've tried finding a used one (only 94 or 95 will work), but it seems that regardless of how many miles are on a car (mine only has 74K on it) these units just quit working after 'so many years'.
I'm asking for a repair shop because I would like to keep the factory unit. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Check www.firebirdv6.com www.fbodyaudio.com www.ls1.com www.ls1tech.com and here in the for sale sections. I see them there all the time. And www.ebay.com
Thanks for the help guys.
As far as buying a used one, I've been looking for weeks. Like I already said, it seems that regardless of how many miles are on a car these units just quit working after so many years.
So, it's either having mine fixed, or getting an aftermarket. And like the one guy said on the other board, "I think after market radio's look gay in double din's." Not to mention, if you want to keep your interior stock for preservation purposes an aftermarket isn't an option.
Thanks again, I appreciate the help.
