Hmm that's interesting, but what about cooling? How much does that airspace get heated up after, say, an hour of loud music?

 

With the MTX 6500D cooling isn't an issue. I'm running mine at 2ohms and after cranking the music for a while the amp wasn't hot to the touch at all. I'm using an MTX 4202 for my front speakers thats running at 4ohms and it gets very hot to the touch.

 

i had a class A/B amp mounted there and no cooling issues....
